quaint inn near parks and art galleries for weekend explorers

I really enjoyed my stay at this cozy inn, especially spending evenings by the outdoor fire pit and being able to easily stroll to nearby spots like Devendorf Park and several art galleries, which made my city walks all the more delightful. the room was very clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the welcoming atmosphere created by the staff, who were always ready to help and serve free coffee throughout the day. but it could be a bit tricky to walk into town at night due to limited sidewalks.

Staying here with the family and our furry friend was a delight. The intimate atmosphere and lovely garden made it a perfect spot for relaxing after our exploring. We enjoyed easy access to Carmel's cozy shops and beautiful beach, just a short drive away.

My kids wished there were more pet-friendly areas on the grounds. Having a designated dog run or play area would have been a nice touch.

Had such a nice time! The garden was gorgeous, perfect for coffee in the morning. Each room has a lovely, unique vibe inspired by local wineries. The breakfast was pretty good too, loved the quiche! Only thing is, no elevators means a bit of stair climbing, but not a biggie. Overall really enjoyed the experience!

The suite was spacious and provided the peace I needed for my getaway. Each day, I appreciated the nicely appointed necessities that felt above average. I found the outdoor areas for pets to be a thoughtful touch that added to my comfort.

However, the location near a busy road made it challenging for walks with my pet.

the shower had no fan, but the room was spacious with a fridge and microwave! the soft bedding made for a good night's sleep, and the hotel was conveniently located near attractions. loved the cozy garden area too!

On the flip side, the check-in was awkward—could barely hear the staff, and no doggy amenities until I asked. The busy road made walking the pups a hassle, and the bathroom shower had no fan, leaving it steamy for ages. Definitely some quirks that need fixing.

Just an ideal choice for exploring town in Carmel-by-the-Sea with fantastic value for money. The staff lit the fire pit for us outside, creating a cozy evening. Consider using Uber to avoid walking in the dark due to lack of sidewalks.
